The SwiftGate Lane Closure System was developed to facilitate the execution of a contract that required the left lane of a highway to be closed for short periods of time.

(2:00AM, 10:00AM, 2:45PM and 7:35PM)
• Geometric concerns (sharp curves)
• Heavy commuter traffic corridor
• Main artery (High traffic volume and speed (60 mph [100 km/hr])
• Potentially long set up time for lane closure with a relatively short closure time

The system has been used year-round with great success, functioning under the most adverse of atmospheric and environmental conditions such as snow, freezing rain, corrosive de-icing agents, low light and high winds.
